The most beautiful thing we can experience is mysterious : Albert Eistein "we don't see things as they are, we see them as we are" (anaisnin)"More than anything else, an artist should look inward all the time and find out what he is interested in what he has to say" Of course you will say that I ought to be practical and try to paint the way that you want me to paint. Well, I'll tell you a secret. I've tried and I've tried very hard, but I can't do it. I just can't do it ! And that is why I'm just a little crazy. (Rembrandt Van Rijn 1606-69) Drawing, painting and photography has fascinated Parviz throughout his life. The serious try to draw and paint more frequently came true in 1988 when he attended the art classes of Ideen Aghdashloo, the well known painter skilled in all media. After finishing basic skills in drawing and colored pencil with him, Parviz explored and practiced watercolor, his treasured medium, by himself for few years. In the meantime, searching for a favorite and competent master, he approached Mr. M. R. Atashzad, the pioneer in transparent watercolor , specially wet in wet technique. The paintings of him thrilled and exited Parviz so much that he practiced with him for several years. He showed him the fluidity and transparency of watercolor which is distinctive from oil paintings and other media. Parviz has been attracted to sketching and drawing with pen and ink, pastel and watercolor from live models in recent years. Living in Canada for few years gave him the chance to take courses in live drawing classes . To see a larger image, you can click on it Shopping gallery A shopping gallery has added for your orders.
